What you need:
2 cans diced tomatoes
Chives (or onions)
Thyme
Italian Seasoning
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Pinch of Sugar
Garlic Powder
Minced Garlic
Meat of choice (I love to cook Pork Chops in this)
Defrost the meat of your choice if you want. This sauce is good to cook Pork Chops, Chicken, or Steak in for a tender meat. Also makes a great Spaghetti Sauce.
Place can tomatoes in a large skillet (for meat) (or a medium pan for spaghetti). As for the spices start with less because you can always add more. I use dried onions or chives to start the spices. Then start adding in all other ingredients. Add a small amount of sugar to help nullify the acid in the tomatoes not for taste. Cook on medium heat with meat in it or low heat for a spaghetti sauce. Taste after 5 minutes and add more of what you think it needs. I mostly stick with adding Italian Seasoning and Garlic at this point. Cook until meat is down or simmer for 30 minutes for spaghetti.
Kid Friendly: Good to Excellent!
